Vishal has over 18 years of auditing and advisory experience with an expertise in corporate governance and risk management services. He focuses on assisting clients establish and assess their corporate governance practices, including providing a broad range of risk advisory, compliance and internal audit services. His experience also includes providing litigation support services related to financial statement analysis, application of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS), evaluation of complex accounting and financial issues, and assessment of audits performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Vishal is currently based in Dubai, heading Veris Delta International Limited, a joint venture established to provide comprehensive forensic accounting and engineering, construction and risk advisory services to the Middle East region.

Vishal has led numerous outsourced internal audit engagements for financial services, consumer goods and services and not-for-profit clients, as well as provided a broad suite of risk advisory services, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance assessment, enterprise risk management reviews, IT controls reviews and internal audit quality assessment reviews.

He has assisted in preparation of detailed expert reports in support of complex litigations as well as performed forensic accounting assignments involving complex insurance contracts, allegations of fraudulent claims, and calculation and analysis of damages.

Vishal’s prior experience includes positions as Partner In-charge of KPMG India’s Risk Advisory Services practice, CFO of HSBC Investment Bank and Manager in Arthur Andersen’s Assurance practice. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Delhi University, India.
