Jamie Saylor, Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Veris Consulting, LLC, participated in a forensic accounting panel hosted by the Gibbs Society of the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary on March 26, 2009.
The panel was moderated by Kim Smith, Assistant Dean of the accounting program and included Professors Laura Simmons and Harold Martin of the Mason School’s accounting program. Each of the panelists shared their extensive experience working in litigation consulting, business valuation and public accounting. The panelists helped students better understand forensic accounting and how each member got their start in consulting, identified the skills required to specialize in forensics and explored examples of work done in this field.
Mr. Saylor is a current member of the Business Partners Board for the Mason School of Business and an alumnus of the accounting program of the Mason School.
