Veris Consulting, LLC is pleased to announce a unique partnership with the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary to provide the 2009 Veris CPATREK.  The Veris CPATREK, held in December of each year, affords William & Mary’s Masters of Accounting students, professors and staff the chance to spend a week visiting key accounting, banking and regulatory bodies at their offices.  The 2008 trip included onsite visits to the FASB, PCAOB and the SEC, enabling students to deepen their knowledge of accounting and regulation in a dynamic and current setting. 

Veris is proud to sponsor this experience for outstanding students at William & Mary, a school that has played a key role in Veris’ success since its inception.  This partnership allows Veris to contribute to a meaningful relationship which has existed with William & Mary for several decades.  Larry Johnson, Chairman of Veris, served on the Mason School’s Business Partners Board for over a decade.  Michelle Avery, Executive Vice President & Managing Director currently serves on the Mason School’s Accounting Programs Board, and Jamie Saylor, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, serves on the Mason School’s Business Partners Board.   Both Michelle and Jamie are accounting alumni of the Mason School.  For more information about the Veris CPATREK, visit here.
