Meredith has more than 16 years of experience exclusively serving the not-for-profit industry, providing outsourced accounting and CFO services. Meredith manages and prepares financial statements, encompassing all aspects of the finance function, from basic transaction processing to sophisticated financial analysis. She also provides other consulting services including the design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, investment procedures, budgeting and grant management, tracking and billing, financial variance analysis, cash management and projections as well as working with client Executives to both prepare and present financial information to Board Members. Meredith regularly helps Veris’ clients file for reimbursement and comply with the requirements for private and federally funded grants. She has dealt with mergers of national associations and designed procedures and controls to eliminate redundancies. She assists tax-exempt organizations with their audit and tax preparation, and provides general business consulting relating to meeting registration processes and logistics, procedures and reconciliations. She is well versed in the various different accounting packages in use by the not-for-profit industry and thus helps clients with accounting system selection, implementation, and training.
Meredith graduated from Virginia Tech where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
