Toby Palmer, PMP
CTO and Senior ManagerToby evaluates how technology can best serve the goals of a particular project or client by assessing project requirements, creating technical specifications, assembling and managing the development team, and leading the technology effort from beginning to end. In addition to his technology responsibilities, Toby also leads the Tradeshow, Conference, & Exhibition Research group at Veris. He has led Veris’ efforts on a number of groundbreaking industry studies, including the Center for Exhibition Industry Research’s (CEIR) Index and Census projects, Destination Marketing Association International’s (DMAI) Convention Expenditure and Impact Study, and the Convention Industry Council’s (CIC) Economic Impact Study.
Toby has managed projects for a diverse group of clients such as the Consumer Electronics Association, Computing Technology Industry Association, Government Entities Mutual, Victor O. Schinnerer & Co., the Silicones Environmental, Health and Safety Council, the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Toby received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University in 1992, and received his project management professional certification (PMP) in 2005.
