John has extensive experience advising nonprofits, CEOs and business leaders on all levels of financial management solutions, from organizational and business development to issues involving cash flow, sales, account management and client services.
With more than 32 years of experience in financial and operating management, his expertise encompasses significant financial, human capital and information technology management. John's client list includes more than 200 pre-revenue to multi-billion dollar organizations, including Acumen Fund, Ashoka, Barnes & Noble, CCH, Share Our Strength, National Cooperative Business Association and Missionfish.
A graduate of Boston College with an MBA in Accounting and MIS, John also holds a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Since 1990, he has been actively involved with Financial Executives International (FEI) at the national, regional and local levels. He was the national chairperson for FEI's National Committee on Member Career Services from 2000 - 2005, was the President of the NJ FEI Chapter from 1999-2000, and was a member of FEI's North Atlantic Regional Board from 2003-2005. John is currently the board chair at the Association for the Preservation of Historic Congressional Cemetery after serving as Treasurer since 2008. He is also on the audit committee of the Social Enterprise Alliance and All Souls Church.
