Carol Ward, CPA, MST is President of Veris. Carol oversees the outsourcing of accounting and tax services, specializing in the areas of financial analysis and consulting, tax research and compliance, management studies, board presentations, budgeting, fraud investigation, and general financial oversight. She also leads Veris’ research division, which provides business surveys, statistical programs and tradeshow audits.

Prior to joining Veris, Carol was a partner with Johnson Lambert & Co. She is active in the American Society of Association Executives, the Center for Association Leadership, and the Finance & Administration Roundtable.

Carol received her master’s in taxation from Georgetown University and her bachelor’s degree from State University of New York-Fredonia, where she is chair of the Board of Trustees for the College Foundation. Carol currently chairs the Audit Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for Acacia Federal Savings Bank.
