Organizations use Veris reports as benchmarking tools to assess how their confidential financial and operating ratios compare to their industry peers.

We measure an organization's overall effectiveness as shown by returns generated on sales and investments. Investors often use these ratios to determine their potential commitment to, and exposure in, an industry. The liquidity ratios measure an organization's ability to meet its maturing obligations and provide insights into its financial flexibility. We also include relevant activity ratios, such as inventory turnover and average collection period of receivables. These ratios measure how effectively a company is using its resources and how effectively it is maintaining its cash flow.

One of the most valuable components is our analysis of the top performing organizations, based on an agreed upon profitability measurement. This standard Veris analysis provides a statistical model of successful organizations within their industry. Report users are empowered to make sound business decisions to improve their profitability by examining "blueprints" of the most profitable organizations in their industry.

As an additional option, we can provide survey participants with customized reports that show their own company data alongside that of the industry at large and/or the segment that most closely matches their profile. These customized reports may also contain rankings or quartile information for the company for the various ratios in the report.
