Accounting Consultants of Veris participated in the Capital Currency Workshop to help local Girl Scouts in the DC Metropolitan region earn their Financial Literacy patch. The event was organized into five
stations that encouraged financial knowledge and investment awareness. Through the five stations: Savvy Saver, Budget Bonanza, Check it Out, Intelligent Investor and Clever Credit Holder, the Girl Scouts
learned the benefits and dangers of credit card use, how to budget for their desired profession, how to write checks and balance a checkbook, what investing is and how to start saving now! Veris has a
